I was given this vision to write on stress management to help other mothers find balance. I wanted to share my personal journey, in order to lay the foundation and let you all know you’re not alone. It doesn’t matter if you are a single mother, co-parenting, or married. Trying to find balance is hard to do. We take on so much and we forget to take care of ourselves. Juggling motherhood and career isn’t easy, but I’m here to tell you that it can be done. Majority of us just haven’t been given the right tools to manage stress effectively. We first need to be educated on it, learn our triggers, and learn new ways to cope. If you are like me, I learned how to cope with stress the wrong way. Looking back on my childhood, I have been dealing with it in the wrong way for many years. I believe we all experience stress in our lives at one point or another. Our day-to-day lives can be very stressful, if we take on too much and don’t take time for ourselves. Stress is a natural part of life. New challenges, such as pursuing personal goals, can be stressful. The goal is to have coping skills to effectively deal with stressful situations, which can minimize the effects of stress on you.
